Spirit of Cricket Award
In the seventh year of this award, Tasmanian Cricket Association club North Hobart, in winning back-to-back awards also proved that the double of a premiership in first grade and a Spirit of Cricket Award are possible, by being the first club to achieve the feat. In Cricket North West, Wynyard Cricket Club won their second award, as did Georgetown in the Northern Tasmanian Cricket association.
After an approach from the Kookaburra Southern Cricket Association prior to the season, the Spirit of Cricket Award was introduced for the 2009-10 season which saw a tie between Lindisfarne Cricket Club and Bushy Park Cricket Club.
