Australia vs Sri Lanka ODI at Bellerive
Upcoming One Day International
There is now just over a month to go before our next great event, Australia vs Sri Lanka starting at Wrest Point, boarding The Cartela and finishing at Blundstone Arena on Friday 24th February 2012.
The day will begin with lunch at Wrest Point, then we board the ferry to Bellerive where reserved seating will be waiting. Tickets packages are available including lunch, ferry and ticket or parts thereof. Tickets are selling fast and are capped at 200 so get in early to avoid disappointment. Click here for the booking form.
Our guests include future Australian Captain Tim Paine (no pressure Tim), plus we are in talks with Cricket Australia for a current Cricket Umpire as well as ABC Radio for one of their commentators. They will be joined by Cricket Tasmania Chairman Tony Harrison for the usual lively banter and debate on the state of cricket in Tasmania and around the country (maybe someone can ask why we missed out on funding at Bellerive!).
We can't promise anything else just yet, but we are also hopeful for a once-in-a-lifetime treat on the day for one lucky guest who loves a good auction.
On the way in to the event look out for our business card draw where you could win this pair of Centenary Vintage Ports (1970 and 1972). This limited box set would be very hard to replace, so either drink it or send it straight to the pool room. For your chance to win drop your business card or fill in our blank card provided into the business card bowl - good luck.

The 2011 Ron Barassi Snr Memorial Debate
On a cold July morning this writer attended his first Barassi Debate.
The subject of the debate was: Who killed Tassie's AFL Dream?
This surprised me for a couple of reasons.
One: I didn't know it was dead, and two, I thought it was an ongoing challenge, not a dream.
AFL administration notwithstanding, of course. More..
Listen to your favourite radio broadcasters call games in sync with your TV!
Turn down the sound on your TV and watch sport while listening to your favourite radio station. Radio sports announcers often provide more descriptive, interesting and exciting calls of sporting events. However, radio signals can run several seconds ahead of TV broadcasts which must pass through cable, satellite or HDTV systems.
Previously when listening to the radio whilst watching on TV, you heard a goal scored or a batsman dismissed seconds before you saw it on the screen.
Now, with the SportSync Radio, your preferred radio station is in sync with the action on your screen.
Perfect for:
AFL, Cricket, Horse Racing, Rugby League, Rugby Union, Soccer and more!
SportsSync radio includes: AM/FM Radio with delay slider, home theater cable, earphones, and a 90 day money back warranty
The Perfect Gift For the Sports Tragic
Connect the home theatre cable to the auxiliary input of your stereo system
and watch the game on your big-screen TV and listen to the delayed and in-sync radio audio through your home theatre speakers.
Requires two AA batteries; not included.
